Our Vegetable Garden

For the past two days Noelle and I have been working hard to finish our vegetable garden. Yesterday our project was to put up a wire fence around the garden to keep out the rabbits and squirrels. Today we planted our vegetables and fruit. I thought Noelle would have fun planting the vegetables and fruits with me, but she was more interested in the dirt and worms. Yesterday she had a ball playing in the dirt and fingerpainting herself with mud. Today while I was digging in the dirt Noelle loved picking up the worms and putting them in her plastic jar. She really loves worms and always gets excited when I find one. I have caught Noelle singing to the worms, putting them in her little car, giving them a ride in her red wagon, and last but not least giving one a kiss. Gross huh?

Rachel commented at May 19, 2008 12:33 PM~: Your garden looks great! We just did ours as well, and we are looking forward to the rewards! My sister had that same problem with worms, but also with frogs...she would alsokiss them and if she found any dead ones in our pool she would put them in a jewelry box and bury them. Don't worry, she outgrew it.
