Playing in the Bucket
On Saturday we decided to wash the car since the weather has gotten really warm. After helping us wash the car Noelle wanted to get into the bucket of water so I put clean water in it for her and she had a blast! We had some an extra bag of ice from the night before so I put it in the bucket too.
Noelle put her head in the cold water too.
She had fun sitting in it too!
After washing the car, Noelle played while I was trying to organize our garage. She found her highchair that we put away and she wanted to sit in it. So while I was organizing she sat their and played. After a while it got really quiet and when I turned around she was asleep.
Corn on the Cob
Noelle loves to eat corn on the cob. The other night she ate two whole ones for dinner. For some reason instead of picking up the corn to eat it she would eat it like this.
Noelle liked putting salt on her corn. Good thing that not too much salt comes out of the salt shaker at one time.

Swim Coach
For the past 3 years I have helped coach a Special Olympics swim team during the spring time. Saturday was our last practice before the big state meet in Wichita. We managed to improve a lot of athletes swim times and only had 1 swimsuit malfunction this year! This is an incredible group of people and I truly enjoy the time I spend with them. Good luck in Wichita Team Topeka-Shawnee!

Gardening Time
Since the weather has finally gotten nice, we have been hard at work planting flowers in our flower bed and in our backyard.
Our Vegetable Garden
For the past two days Noelle and I have been working hard to finish our vegetable garden. Yesterday our project was to put up a wire fence around the garden to keep out the rabbits and squirrels. Today we planted our vegetables and fruit. I thought Noelle would have fun planting the vegetables and fruits with me, but she was more interested in the dirt and worms. Yesterday she had a ball playing in the dirt and fingerpainting herself with mud. Today while I was digging in the dirt Noelle loved picking up the worms and putting them in her plastic jar. She really loves worms and always gets excited when I find one. I have caught Noelle singing to the worms, putting them in her little car, giving them a ride in her red wagon, and last but not least giving one a kiss. Gross huh?
This was the final project! After lots of hard work and an aching body our vegetable garden is complete and hopefully rabbit proof.
I planted zuchini, yellow onions, lettuce, strawberries, tomatoes, asparagus, and watermelon in our garden. I'm looking forward to spending lots of time outside with Noelle taking care of our garden. Hopefully we will get to harvest lots of yummy vegetables and fruits.
New Favorite Snack
Noelle's new favorite snack is popsicles. Sometimes for breakfast she asks for them and I have to tell her no.
Breakfast Time
The other morning I left Noelle eating her breakfast at the kitchen table and when I came back she was trying to drink from our juice container. Luckily there wasen't very much juice left in it. She kept telling me that she was drinking juice and that it was yummy.
