Nicole and I went on a hike, along with our dog Oreo this weekend. It was an overcast and windy day (see Nicole's hair in the pictures), perfect day for a hike. Usually we spend our Saturday mornings working around the house, so we can do fun stuff in the afternoon. This hike was pretty neat, and really easy. We saw numerous pillboxes on the way up from WWII, we decided we would take pictures of them the next time we do the hike. The previous night we went to see the semi-finals of the state basketball tournament. Basketball isn't so big here so we got pretty good seats. Both of the games were pretty good.
Kahuku plays Iolani tonight for the championship, from what I saw Iolani should beat Kahuku.

This weekend Mike and Nicole visited the Valley of the Temples in Kaneohe. The Byodo-In temple is a big attraction for tourists, and Mike likes to feed the Koi here.
Nicole posing with the big, freakin' bell. Ringing this bell is supposed to bring forth happiness, and boy was she happy after ringing it!

Nicole and I went to the Fan Appreciation festivities put on by the NFL in Waikiki during Pro Bowl weekend. We ran into Freddie the Falcon and he was so excited to see Nicole that he gave her a big kiss on the cheek!
This is Mike cruisin' with Super Bowl Champ Pat Patriot. This is about as close as we got to any NFL football players.
These football players are a lot bigger in person!

This is my beautiful wife. Lately she has gotten quite brave when it comes to hairstyles. She has chopped quite a bit off, and even colored it herself, and she only gets more beautiful!
This is Nicole and I in front of the Laie
LDS Temple, which we were married in 18 glorious months ago!
The renovation leading up to the
LDS Temple in Laie is finally finished, and it turned out beautiful. For those of you who weren't able to attend our wedding this is the view looking out from the edifice that Nicole and I were married in.
Nicole and I went driving up the coast last week and saw some 15 foot waves. These pictures don't quite do them justice. You might notice I've gotten a little soft...
but I'll get it back.
This is a picture of the Fu Manchu that I had the morning I shaved it off, Nicole wasn't a fan. Hawaii isn't ready for Mike and the Fu Manchu yet, we'll try it again in a couple of months.
