Late Nite in the Phog!

Kansas University officially kicked off their basketball season last weekend. We attended their first official scrimmage of the season, along with about 14,000 other people. We all got complimentary "bam-bams" to make noise throughout the night. As you can see Noelle put hers to good use. It was a historic night because they unveiled 3 new banners, Big 12 Champions, 2008 Final Four Banner, and the National Championship banner. We got to see this years team scrimmage which consisted of quite a few newcomers. We certainly won't win it all this year, but next year people better watch out!

It was Noelle's first Allen Fieldhouse experience and she had a great time. My favorite part were the videos leading up to the unveiling of the banners. If you've got 20 minutes to spare here is Part 1 and Part 2.

Things got pretty loud while we were there. As you can see Noelle didn't like all of the noise...at first.

It took her a little while to warm up, but it wasn't very long before she got the hang of screaming her head off!
