Happy Birthday Mike!
Yesterday we celebrated Mike's 30th birthday. One of the highlights of Mike's birthday was this yummy german chocolate cake that his mom made for him.
For dinner we went to Red Robin which is Mike's favorite resturant with Mike's mom and our friends Jan & Jen. Because it was Mike's birthday they gave him these balloons and had him wear them around his neck and they sang him a birthday song. For all the humiliation he got an icecream. I am so lucky to have Mike in my life. He is such a wonderful husband and father. He fills our lives with so much happiness and laughter. Mike we love you!
Feeding the Geese
The other day since it was a beautiful day we went to feed the ducks. When we first got there we didn't see very many ducks or geese. The geese must of smelt the bread or something because they all started to come so we sat on a bench to feed them. Within a couple of minutes there must have been 60 geese that came and surrounded the bench. It kind of scared me because they kept coming closer and closer to get the bread. They were so close we could literally touch them. I tried to throw the bread far away from us hoping that they would back up but they didn't. I was worried what would happen once we ran out of bread.
Luckily for us the geese noticed when we ran out of bread so they decided to go swimming in the pond instead.

After we fed the geese Noelle had fun playing in a little cabana near the pond. It was alot more enjoyable to watch the geese from a distance.

Fall Crafts
The other day I decided to decorate our house for Halloween even though it is only the beginning of September. My mom loves to decorate for the different holidays and I love it too. We have Halloween stuff to hang on the outside of our house, but I'll wait until it is October. (I'm too embarrased to hang them out in September!) Noelle and I did some fall crafts so that we could hang them up in our house.
Noelle loves to glue things. So I decided to cut out Halloween shapes and have her glue colored pieces of paper on them. She did a great job!
