Noelle loves to help me cook. A couple of nights ago I made some meatloaf and she loved pouring all the ingredients into the bowl. As you can tell by the picture, she finally has enough hair to make two small pigtails! I am so excited that she finally has more hair.
Noelle loves to crack eggs. One day she climbed up on a chair and got a hold of an egg, and luckily I got there before she did it. Maybe she will grow up to be a great cook!
Tonight before her bath, Noelle decided to climb the walls with her feet! It was so funny I had to run and get the camera. We have no idea where she learned how to do that.
Today after I got a new roll of toliet paper, Noelle grabbed a package of toliet paper that was sealed up. I didn't care if she played with them, since I thought it would take her a while to open them. So I went to check my email on the computer and could hear her little footsteps running back and forth from the bathroom to the living room. After a couple of minutes Noelle comes into the computer room with two rolls of soaked toilet paper to show me. She was smiling of course! I knew right away what she was up to. I first went to check the toliet which was empty, then walked into the living room where she had about 6 soaked rolls of toliet paper stacked and lined up in a row. I guess I have learned my lesson to never leave Noelle alone with toliet paper and leave the bathroom door open!
After suffering through UH's loss in the Sugar Bowl it was nice to see the Jayhawks hang on for the win to become the Orange Bowl Champs. The latest debate in the Eldridge household is who had the better team: KU or Hawaii?
Recently Noelle has started laying on her back in the bath tub. It's funny to watch her ease onto her back and kind of wince as the water comes up over her ears. Once she gets used to the water being over her ears she just lays there playing with the washclothes. Then she starts doing the little chant from Finding Nemo (when he gets initiated into the fishtank club. It goes something like, "Ha Hoo Wha He Ha Ho Ho Ho."). She is a funny little girl and is looking forward to hitting the beach in Maui soon.
Today Mike wore his UH shirt so I decided that Noelle and I should wear ours too! We are really excited to watch the Sugar Bowl tonight and are cheering for UH! I haven't been able to watch them play this year since the games are always so late here. If you can't tell what Noelle is doing, she is trying to shaka. We are still working on it. GO BOWS!
Today we went over to see Mike's dad since he was home by himself. He made us some yummy chili and we had fun just hanging out. He brought a huge box in the house for Noelle to play in. She loved it and played with it for a long time. Grandpa made her a window that opened and shut which she had a blast playing with. When Mike and I fell asleep he also let Noelle run around in the dark with a flashlight which she loved too. What a fun Grandpa!
Today we let Noelle eat the candy off the gingerbread house since Christmas is over. This is the second year we have let her, maybe it will become a tradition on New Year's Day.
Last night the Kaus came over to celebrate New Year's Eve with us. We were excited to be able to meet their new addtion, Gary. We had lots of fun talking, eating and watching the girls play.
Noelle and Vivian had tons of fun playing together. It took a while for them to warm up to each other, but after a while they had fun copying each other, taking a bath together and playing with these noise makers we got from a KU basketball "Midnight Madness" we went to. They kept chasing each other around and looking through the noise maker and saying I see you!
