Bedtime Prayer
Tonight when Mike was going to put Noelle down for the night, he called me to come and look at her. When I got to her room she was kneeling next to her bed waiting for me to come and say family prayer with them. It was so sweet! Since we just got her to sleep in her "big girl bed", I was excited to teach her to kneel by her bed to say prayers instead of holding her when we prayed. I can't wait for her to be able to say her own prayers in the future.

Christmas Day
I was really excited for Christmas Day this year since Noelle is a little older. We had lots of fun watching Noelle open her gifts. We hope that you all had a Merry Christmas!
Noelle had lots of fun opening presents. I think she enjoyed ripping off the wrapping paper and opening the boxes. I was making a pile of opened gifts by me, so after she would open a gift she would give it to me and go back to the tree and open another gift. Noelle definetly hit the jackpot with all the fun gifts she got! Thanks to everyone who sent us gifts!
These are some of the things my mom got for Mike to put up in his office at work. Noelle loved the kukui nut lei. She walked around for a while with it on.
This is the lovely present that Mike and Noelle wrapped for me since we ran out of scotch tape. Notice the pieces of tape hanging off that Noelle put on. Mike got me a steam cleaner for Christmas. If you don't know I love to vaccum our floors, so I am excited for my new steam cleaner.
Me and Noelle opening and playing with her new toys.
I was really excited for Noelle to open her present from Grandma and Grandpa Eldridge. They got her an Elmo stuffed animal. Noelle saw it one day when were at the store and kept giving it hugs and didn't want to put it back. So we told Grandma and Grandpa and they got it for her. She was pretty excited when she took it out of the bag.
Noelle had fun carrying Elmo around and hugging him.

Let It Snow!
This past weekend, we had a huge snow storm. In all we got about 9 inches of snow! In the middle of the storm, we decided to go outside and enjoy the new fallen snow.
The snow was up past her knees. She loved trudging through all the snow.
Frosty the Snowman
I was so excited to make a snowman today since Mike was home. It was perfect snow for a snowman and the weather was really nice. After watching us built the snowman, Noelle caught on really quickly. She got handfuls of snow and added him to the snowman.
She really liked packing snow on the snowman.
After a while Noelle started to lay down on the snow and continue to pack snow on the snowman.
It's so funny, she kept finding raisins that fell off the snowman (his eyes) and ate them. Noelle for some reason also really loves eating snow.

Noelle checking out the snowman.
Noelle really liked the snowman. She kept wanting to hug and kiss him.
After I was finished taking pictures, I told Noelle that we were going to go back into the house. She kept telling me no then ran to the snowman and sat next to him. We had lots of fun!

Merry Chirstmas
This year we took our Christmas picture a little late and I wasn't able to get all the addresses I wanted to so I decided I would make it up by including it in our blog.

My Gingerbread House
Today after church we went over to Mike's parents and I decorated a gingerbread house that Mike's mom made from scratch. It is always something I look forward to doing during Christmas time.
This is the front view of my gingerbread house. I was so proud of myself. I think it is my best one I've made. I added a Christmas tree, snowman and gingerbread man to the gingerbread house too!

Ho Ho Ho!
Last night we went to our ward Christmas party. At the end of the party Santa made an appearance. I had tried to teach Noelle about Santa so that she would recognize him. She was pretty excited to sit on his lap. She kept trying to cut in line to get closer to him. When it was finally her turn, she sat quietly on his lap and acted kind of shy. At least after waiting in the long line, she wasn't scared of him.
