18 months old
Noelle went for her 18 month appointment the other day. She is 21 lbs. 15 oz. (25%), and 32 inches (75%) tall. I always thought I would have a petite little girl, but I think she will be tall and skinny. Noelle is growing up so quickly. She is starting to say alot of words like please, thank you, cheese, bubble. I counted and came up with 21 words. She is like a little sponge, she really soaks in everthing around her. I am amazed at how fast she learns things, especially from copying us. She loves to color with crayons, but since she likes to eat them I usually only let her color with colored pencils. She loves to play with her baby doll which she will carry around sometimes and pat its back, kiss, feed it and cover it will the blanket. Noelle really likes animals. She loves to go to the zoo, especially the petting zoo, where she can feed and pet the animals. She is so much fun and I feel very blessed to be able to stay home with her and spend my days with her. I can't believe my baby is becoming a little girl.

My Little Helper
Noelle is mommy's little helper. She always helps me put in and take out laundry from the dryer. Her favorite part is helping me put laundry away. She usually wants to put the laundry away before I am done folding them and usually drops some on the way, but it is so cute. I can tell by the look on her face that she likes the praise and recognition she gets when she helps me out. Today while we were checking out at the register at Walmart, Noelle decided to help me put the groceries on the conveyor belt, then when we got home she wanted to help me carry the groceries in the house. It is so cute that she finds ways to help me, it definetly brightens my day!
Noelle & Oreo
Noelle really loves Oreo and Oreo always looks out for Noelle. They kind of have a love-hate relationship though because when Noelle is upset sometimes she takes it out on Oreo and sometimes Oreo gets irritated with Noelle bugging and poking at him. Recently before we leave the house to go somewhere Noelle will go up to Oreo and give him a hug and tell him "bye". It is so sweet because she does it almost everytime we go out.

The Wunders Come to Visit
The Wunders came into town to visit the Kaus and us. It was so nice to see them since the girls have never met each other. On Friday we went up the Ruth and Ammon's house and spent the night, then on Saturday they all came over to our house. It was so fun to hang out and catch up on what everyone is doing. Too bad we live so far away from the Wunders. It was so nice to see them and spend time with them.
Since the Midwwest is known for their barbeque, we went out to eat at a resturant called "Boss Hogs". Noelle enjoying the ribs. She will literally eat all the meat off the bone.
Petting Zoo
We went to a petting zoo with the Kaus and Wunders. It was really hot and humid, but the girls enjoyed looking at all the animals.
Noelle loved feeding the goats. She really loves animals and is not afraid to touch them and feed them. This baby goat was just her size.

Cabela's
After the petting zoo, since it was so humid and hot outside we decided to go to Cabela's since it was air conditioned. For those who don't know what Cabela's is, it is a hunting and fishing store. I think the guys were more excited then we were to go there, but it actually was really neat. Noelle found some geese that were decoys (fake geese that look real to attract other geese so the hunters can shoot them). She loved petting it.
We loved looking at all the stuffed animals they had there. They all looked so real and it was cool to see how they made the animals look like they would be in the wild. Here we are next to the polar bears.
There was also a Africa area where there were stuffed lions, zebras, monkeys, and elephants among other animals.
Noelle looking at the ceetah ready to pounce on her.
Noelle loved looking at all the fish.
At Cabela's there was a huge aquarium with lots of catfishes and bass and other fresh water fish. These catfish in this tank were huge! They almost looked like they were as big as me.
Girls Just Want to Have Fun
The girls enjoyed each others company, although sharing toys was a problem. It was fun to see them play with each other and copy each other. Who would have thought that our first babies would all be girls and that the first time they would all meet each other would be in Missouri and Kansas.
Noelle and Emi playing ring-a-round the rosies. It was funny because they would want to fall down before the song was over.
Noelle loved having company in the bathtub. It was so much fun to see them all interact with each other. I felt so bad because Noelle sat in the middle and kept dumping water on Vivian and Emi.
Girls Day Out
While the dads took the girls swimming, we decided to get pedicures. It was so nice spend time together and be pampered. Not only did we get our toes done, we decided to go all out and get our nails done too!

Silly Girl
Recently I have been trying to teach Noelle to say "P U" and hold her nose when she has a poopy diaper. Today when she had a dirty diaper, I said "P U" and she held her nose and came up to me and held my nose too! She is so much fun, she always makes us laugh.

This past weekend Dad and I traveled to Boulder, CO to watch Morgan do his first half ironman triathlon (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run). It was good to see him and finally meet 2 of his friends that he's gone on so many adventures with! He did a great job for a first half ironman (and coming off a weeklong sickness), he beat 40% of the competition.
This was Morgan's intimidation pose, after this about half of the athletes decided not to race.
Morgan probably wondering why in the world he signed up for this!
Morgan is underneath the T & A in start, he's kind of holding his hand up. No doubt getting psyched up for his 1.2 mile swim.
And he's off!
I thought this was a nice view of the swim course and scenery around Boulder Reservoir. Morgan is somewhere in this picture.
