Hula Girl

Tonight we took some pictures for Noelle's birthday inviation. We decided to do a luau so we thought it would be cute if we dressed her up in her hula outfit.

Let it Snow!

Last night it snowed about 3 inches and since it was the first big snowfall this winter, we decided to let Noelle play in the snow. The snow was perfect to make a snowman so Mike made a small one for Noelle. Suprisingly Noelle really liked the snow and kept trying to pick it up. She did better than I thought she would.

I didn't think Noelle would like playing in the snow, but she loved it until her hands got cold!

Helping Mom With the Laundry

Noelle usually loves to help me with the laundry. Her favorite thing to do is the unfold the clothes that I already folded. She also likes to pull all of the laundry out of the laundry basket. Today after she pulled out clothes from the laundry basket she decided to crawl into the basket.

Noelle had so much fun inside of the clothes basket. She would sit down then stand up over and over again and played peek-a-boo with me.

Big Monday

Nicole and I went to a Big Monday night game that was televised on ESPN, KU vs. Missouri. We braved the wintery weather and headed over to Lawrence, KS for the big game. We got there right in time for Nicole to give the entire (almost) KU team hi-five's as they were running onto the court. We had awesome seats that I got through my work. In this picture I am trying to explain to the guy how to work our camera, and unfortunately this is the only one of both of us that really turned out. It was a great night as the Jayhawks were triumphant in a close fought game.

Whenever KU shot free-throws the whole place went silent and everyone raised their hands, it was quite the sight!

This was the view we had of the court from our seats on the 11th row. It was the perfect spot to be when Julian Wright drove baseline and dunked on Missouri.

My Hair is Growing!

Noelle has never had lots of hair and still doesn't have much. Usually if she isn't wearing pink people think that she is a boy. So today I was so happy when I tried to put a barrett in her hair for church and it stayed! I'm so excited to start putting little ribbons and clips in her hair.

Watching TV

Noelle loves to watch tv. She really likes to watch Seasame Street, Jay Jay (the airplane show) and especially Baby Einstein. I can tell when she really likes a show because she will crawl up to the tv and hold on the tv stand and watch it.

Gingerbread House

Today we decided it was time to throw away the gingerbread house I made on Christmas Day. Mike decided it would be fun to put the gingerbread house on the floor and let Noelle go at it. She loved licking the roof with all the chocolate chips and even got a couple of M&Ms loose and put one in her mouth before we could grab it. She is definetly a chocolate lover!
