Pumpkin Patch

Tonight we went to a pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful night to go to the pumpkin patch since it was pretty warm for the end of October. We each picked out a pumpkin for Halloween. Mike got a giant pumpkin that was about 38 lbs. I got a medium pumpkin that was 13 lbs, and Noelle got a miniature pumpkin that was about 5 ozs.

Noelle loved riding around in the red wagon and looking at all the pumpkins. 

When we put Noelle in the wagon with her pumpkin the first thing she wanted to do with it was put it in her mouth. Since it was covered with dirt, we asked to get it washed so that she could play with it while we looked for our pumpkin.

Peek-a-boo!

We have had to move Noelle's little tub into the big bathtub, because she gets water everywhere. This video is of her playing peek-a-boo with her daddy while she soaks in the water.

I love shoes!

One of Noelle's favorite things to do is to play with shoelaces. If I don't watch her for a second she will roll all the way to the front door and play with any shoelaces she can find.

Bubbles!

Poor Noelle has a cold! Her nose is so stuffed up that sometimes bubbles come out. We were lucky to get this picture because she has bubbles coming out of both her nostrils...so talented! I wonder where she learned to do it!

Standing up

Noelle has started to pull herself up on me and Mike and likes to stand up on her own by the couch. She seems alot more interested in standing up and walking then crawling. She is growing up so fast!

On Saturday I spent the day helping Bud do some work on his house. We readied the forms so he can pour concrete for the basement walls. It was a long day, but worth it once we saw the fruits of our labor. Nicole and Noelle came out later to inspect our work, and they said it met their expectations.

Basketball Season is Here!

On Friday we went to Late Night in the Phog, with Mark & Melissa. KU has a handful of talent and are a pre-season top 3 team (depending on what poll you look at). From the Rock Chalk chant to the player introductions, it was an awesome night. If we don't get out of the 1st round this year in the NCAA tournament, then we've got problems!

WInter Quarters Temple

Today we got up at 3:30 am and picked up the Lingenbrinks and headed up to the Winter Quarters Temple. The closest temple to us is three hours away so we decided to leave early so that we wouldn't get home too late. Noelle and Julia did great during the six hour drive and we had an enjoyable time at the temple. 

Since we both have babies we decided to take turns watching each others baby. It seemed like alot more work with two little ones. We decided that the girls needed to roll around and play for a while so we took them to this cemetary next to the temple. Noelle was more interested in grabbing the grass and leaves and putting them in her mouth than smiling for the picture.
