Happy New Year!

Greetings everyone! We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas because we certainly did. If anyone is interested in the rest of my family my sisters Carrie, Megan, and Cathy all have started weblogs of their own that you might want to check out. Nicole and I are off to Maui tomorrow to be with her parents and also to see my sister Carrie and her husband Mike. They are visiting to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. Hopefully we'll have some sweet pictures to share with you when we get back. We hope all is well with everyone and want to express our love for all of you.

Mike meets Brooke Burns!

At guys night out this past weekend I met TV personality Brooke Burns. She is the star of North Shore and host of Dog Eat Dog. My friend Jimmy was the one that noticed her. We had just bought our tickets and were entering the movie theater, and she was about to make her entrance into the building. She walked by, while Jimmy, John, and I all kind of stared at her, starstruck. She looked at us, and the following ensued...
Me: Hey there, can I just shake your hand?
Brooke Burns: Sure! (we shake hands) What's your name?
Me: Mike.
Brooke Burns: Great! I'm Brooke...Well see you later.
And then she was off, surely to tell her friends of the 3 strapping, savage men that she had just met. It was quite an experience.
